Manage your SEO and GEO content with verified facts: briefs, content score, fact-checked updates, published to WordPress in one click.

== Description ==

Suiko (https://getsuiko.com) is a content platform for teams that manage SEO and GEO content: it prepares the brief from what Google shows and from your knowledge base, guides your writers with a content score, checks every fact against your sources, publishes to your site, and keeps your published articles true over time by proposing updates when a price, a rule, a date or a lead time changes. This plugin connects your WordPress site to Suiko. Once connected:

* **New articles written in Suiko** arrive in WordPress in one click, as drafts or published, with their title tag, meta description and focus keyword written into Yoast SEO or Rank Math (both tested; without an SEO plugin, the post title and excerpt are used).
* **Updates with verified facts**: Suiko reads your published posts and pages, spots what is out of date, and the update you approve on Suiko arrives in WordPress as a draft linked to the live article, with a one-click "Apply this Suiko update" action. Or, if you prefer, it replaces the live article directly; the previous version stays in the article's revisions.
* **Performance** stays on Suiko's side: clicks, impressions and position of each page from Google Search Console, and whether the page is cited in Google's AI Overviews. The plugin itself sends nothing to Google.
* Nothing else: no user accounts, no settings, no other content are read or changed. Page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Bricks) are read but not written: you apply those updates by hand.

Connecting takes one click: Settings > Suiko > "Connect to Suiko". You confirm on Suiko and come straight back. Nothing to copy.

== External services ==

This plugin connects your site to the Suiko service (https://getsuiko.com), operated by Adrien Asselineau, Lisbon. It talks to two addresses:

* app.getsuiko.com, when you click "Connect to Suiko": your browser is sent there with a one-time pairing code, your site address and name; Suiko then calls your site once to exchange that code for a key. Afterwards, Suiko reads your published articles and files updates through your site's REST API (/wp-json/suiko/v1), authenticated with that key. Nothing is sent unless you connected the site, and disconnecting stops it.
* getsuiko.com/wordpress/suiko.json, twice a day at most, to learn whether a newer version of the plugin exists (self-hosted builds only; the WordPress.org build does not do this). Only the plugin version and your WordPress version are sent.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it work with Yoast SEO or Rank Math? =

Yes, both are tested: the SEO title, meta description and focus keyword are read and written back on update. Page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Bricks) are read but not written: you apply those updates by hand.

= Does Suiko publish on my site without asking? =

Not by default. Updates arrive as drafts; you apply them in one click. You can switch to direct replacement in Settings > Suiko.

= What does the plugin store? =

A hash of the key Suiko uses to talk to your site (never the key itself), the publication mode and the name of your Suiko organisation. Disconnecting removes them.
